Sales Director

About the role:
Develops and implements strategic business plans and initiatives with a strong focus on revenue growth, cost management and profitability. Responsible for customer relations management, strategic account planning, mix management/vendor relations, and proactive outbound communications/selling. Assists executive level with developing divisional strategic initiatives.
What you'll do:
Point person for escalated issues and driving SLA attainment.
Owns understanding the needs of, and ensuring the delivery to create, a better customer experience.
Responsible for driving higher NPS scores.
Develops quantifiable business plans to achieve financial objectives and gain new customers.
Understands industry trends in order to enhance strategic partnerships.
Develops and recommends short and long range strategic, divisional goals and objectives consistent with organization guidelines.
Identifies Serviceable Available Market (SAM) by account and vendor partner, develops vendor relations to maximize profitable share growth.
Develops Managers through ongoing coaching and 1:1 meetings reviewing skills development and/or performance strategic sales initiatives.
Ensures team is equipped to carry out the strategic sales initiatives to attain goals.
Acts as lead for any cross regional initiatives/projects.
Additional duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
Meets attendance and punctuality standards.
4 year degree and 4 to 6 years relevant sales management experience (or equal years of work experience) Industry knowledge needed.
People management experience necessary. Some travel required.
