We are a true farm-to-table company with an integrated portfolio including food processing and food brands, phosphate mining, fertilizer manufacturing, farming, ranching and cattle production, and other enterprises related to agriculture.SummaryThe incumbent supports the operations of the Global Records and Information Management Team (the Team) to ensure that all information is managed in accordance with policy. This role requires working with stakeholders and the Team to manage legacy records and learn electronic records processes. This role uniquely identifies company information for access and retrieval, performs access and retrieval, and quality control, does secure destruction of records for the Schedules.Key Responsibilities Maintains and tracks information/records collections using the Information Management systems and tools; including cataloging information objects, maintaining metadata, recording lifecycle stages for each information object, and bar-coding physical artifacts/files. Provides the appropriate description, retention, and disposition data on all of Simplot's information assets in a timely manner.
Serves as Tier 1 contact for customer inquiries. Assists with researching records and information management issues and requests in accordance with Team procedures and best practices.
Responds to queries, retrieving records and instructing staff on the proper organization, retention, and final disposition of information assets.
Escalate Tier 2 inquiries to Records & Information Analyst.
Conducts searches and prepares information collections needed to fulfill discovery, investigations, and audit requests. Performs simple searches using Team tools to identify and retrieve information objects needed for discovery, legal holds, investigations, audits, etc.
Conducts site visits, audits, inventories and surveys of collections, working closely with the Team to determine and recommend retention and disposition for the information.
Assists with the proper identification, labeling, capture, and management of information assets and the proper destruction at the end of the information life-cycle. Typical EducationHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Relevant Experience1+ years related experience and/or training
