Unlock your potentialJob Summary and QualificationsThe cardiac Cath lab RN, under supervision of the Supervisor of the Cardiac Cath Lab and Director of CV services is responsible for performing the daily operations for the cardiac Cath lab. The CCL RN is responsible for direct and indirect patient care, assists the Physician during procedures, responsible to circulate cases, scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures and hemodynamic monitoring. Patient care functions will be performed in accordance with the nurse practice act in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of the organization. Provides patient education of Cath lab procedures.What qualifications you will need:Advanced Cardiac Life SptBasic Cardiac Life SupportCurrent RN licensure by the State of Texas or from a Compact State if you declare the Compact State your Primary State of ResidenceGraduate of an accredited professional school of nursing with an Associate’s of Science of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN), preferred2+ years of experience in an acute care setting1-2 years ICU/CCU critical care experience1-2 years Cardiac Catheterization Lab experience preferredAbility to read arrhythmias Medical City Fort Worth is a 350+ bed full-service Magnet Designated hospital. It is located in the heart of the medical district. Medical City Fort Worth serves as a tertiary referral center for Tarrant County and many counties within a 90 mile radius. We offer comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services. Our specialties include cardiac care, neurosciences and oncology. We have surgical services, orthopedics, kidney transplants and emergency care. We offer three ER locations, including two off campus ER located in Burleson and White Settlement. Medical City Fort Worth is a designated comprehensive stroke center. We are a Joint Commission chest pain center. We are a part of the Medical City network of hospitals.
