Be an impact as a Labor & Delivery RN Manager where your passion for leading and creativity are valued We want your knowledge and expertiseJob Summary and QualificationsThe Labor & Delivery RN Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.What you will do in this role: Help create a superior clinical identity by operationalizing evidence-based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes, while ensuring adherence to standards of care. Demonstrate ability to manage multiples tasks and projects in a productive manner.Demonstrate interdepartmental support and teamwork through a supportive and collaborative approach.Ensure staff compliance with policies and procedures, mandatory requirements, and licensure and certification requirements.Meet mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectives as listed in the Performance Management Plan.Establish orientation and annual competency criteria for staff and ensure successful completion.Demonstrate ability to identify strategic management initiatives.Respond to requests for information or follow-up with physician, staff, or patient issues in a timely manner.What qualifications you will need:Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice requiredAssociate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing preferredAcute care/hospital nursing leadership experience requiredCurrent Fetal Monitoring certification must be acquired within 12 months of hireAdvanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of hireBasic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of hireNeonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of hireTriStar StoneCrest proudly serves Rutherford County, Tennessee.
