Overview:We are seeking an experienced Operations Demand Planner with a strong background in food manufacturing or CPG to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving demand planning activities, including monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and maintaining monthly operations forecast files. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the sales team to estimate future product demand, translating these estimates into a comprehensive operations forecast that will guide supply chain activities.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and refine forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
Support management by conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
Propose and execute strategies to enhance demand forecast accuracy.
Effectively communicate forecast and inventory levels to management.
Monitor and report significant changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
Establish and maintain monthly forecasts to drive Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and production schedules.
Contribute significantly to monthly S&OP activities.
Address demand-related challenges promptly and effectively.
Coordinate demand for new product introductions and limited time offers (LTOs) within the overall demand framework.
Commit to fostering a culture of safety, ensuring a secure work environment.
Participate in other projects and duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Finance is required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or other supply chain functions.
Experience across multiple supply chain disciplines, such as manufacturing, logistics, procurement, R&D, and quality, is highly preferred.Benefits:This position offers a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees.
