Come join our Corporate ESG Strategy & Sustainability team We're seeking an accomplished Enterprise ESG & Sustainability Manager who will lead T-Mobile's environmental sustainability program and drive our strategy and engagement across the company. This role will be crucial in leading a unified, enterprise-level approach to sustainability, with a strong focus on identifying and implementing pathways to achieve T-Mobile's ambitious Net-Zero and energy goals. The ideal candidate has strong carbon emissions expertise, experience guiding financial and economic analysis that informs strategic planning and has a proven track record of leading through influence.
** This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office) and can be based in Bellevue, WA or Overland Park, KS **
Job Responsibilities:
- Refine and implement T-Mobile's enterprise sustainability strategy, ensuring progress is made towards T-Mobile's existing enterprise goals while also introducing new goals (where appropriate). Work across business units and corporate groups to identify and support both short-term and long-term pathways to reduce T-Mobile's GHG emission to achieve Net-Zero.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners, including senior leadership, operational teams, and business units, to ensure alignment and support for sustainability initiatives. Engage with external partners, regulatory bodies, and industry groups to stay informed and drive collaborative efforts.
- Lead a cross-functional working group dedicated to operationalizing sustainability; Lead collaborations with cross-functional partners to set internal emissions reduction targets and reduction strategies. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment, providing guidance and support to ensure successful program execution and achievement of sustainability goals.
- Analyze environmental, financial, and other data to assess performance and identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate environmental risks and capitalize on opportunities for enhanced sustainability.
- Ensure accurate and transparent reporting of quarterly and annual environmental performance metrics. Support the preparation of messaging, reports, dashboards, roadmaps, and disclosures related to environmental sustainability, including T-Mobile's Corporate Responsibility Report, Pathway to Net-Zero Report, CDP Response, and financial statements.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in environmental sustainability. Recommend and implement innovative solutions to improve our sustainability practices and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Environmental Science, Business or related field required
- 4-7 years' experience with delivering projects aligned with large scale company goals through influence and collaboration and developing value chain emissions reduction strategy for large corporations.
- Experience setting and reporting on corporate GHG reduction targets and commitments (e.g. Net zero, SBTi).
- Strong experience and knowledge of environmental issues, particularly related to climate change strategy and reporting. Proven competency for environmental-related analytics. You are comfortable analyzing environmental data around carbon, footprint reductions, LCAs, and interpreting results.
- Strong presentation and communication skills and ability to make the case for change using data and analytics. Your style is authentic, engaging, and motivating.
- A strong attention to detail, ability to manage deadlines and juggle competing priorities.
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills.
- Deep knowledge of environmental sustainability principles, including carbon accounting, life cycle assessment, and emissions reduction levers.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate complex sustainability initiatives and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills, with experience managing both internal and external partners and the ability to effectively communicate complex sustainability concepts and data to diverse audiences up to the executive level.
- Ability to analyze data, facilitate annual and quarterly net zero planning, goal setting, roadmapping, budgeting, and communication across the Sustainability Working Group and other internal teams to share progress, gaps and needs, risks and mitigation strategies.
- Strong understanding of the relationships between strategy, operations, and reporting.
- Proficiency in sustainability reporting frameworks (GHG Protocol, TCFD, CDP, etc.), standards (SBTi Net-Zero) and tools (GHG Protocol, EPA GHG Emissions Factors Hub, etc.) and familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements (CSRD, SEC, State of California, etc.).
- Passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to driving meaningful change.
- Strong leadership abilities with a collaborative approach to team management and program execution.
- Systems thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Adaptable and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Base Pay Range: $87,500 - $157,900
Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year.
