Stevens EMS has full-time and part-time Paramedic positions open now. Our full time positions work 5 days every 2 weeks. Scheduling is consistent, but flexible. Our ambulance service provides ALS and Critical Care pre-hospital care and transport for both 911 and inter-facility requests. Opportunities available in our EMS Education programs as well, teaching CPR, First Aid, EMR, EMT, ACLS and PALS. We are driven by a desire to provide the highest quality patient care and service to our communities and the people that live here. 

PARAMEDIC Duties:

Our paramedics are responsible for delivering high quality medical care and transportation to ill and injured persons. Clinical competency, compassion, situational awareness, respect, prioritized decision making and sound judgement are important skills required in this job. 

License or Certification:

  • Current certification as Nationally Registered Paramedic.
  • Provide certification number and expiration date with resume or application.
  • Minnesota Paramedic Certification or eligible.
  • Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification (BLS)
  • Current ACLS and PALS certification.
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.

Hours: Full-time rotation and part-time and casual opportunities. Online scheduling system and set schedule rotations available for full-time personnel.

Schedule:

  • 12 and 24 hour shifts, some on call nights and weekends. FT positions are scheduled for 5 days out of 14.
