Technician III, Engineering Facilities Maintenance

The Technician III, Engineering Facilities Maintenance is to support and partner with senior engineers and to support at least two of the process and utility systems.
This is a fulltime role working days; Monday – Friday

The Role
- Monitor and troubleshoot of critical systems; Solves a range of complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions
- Contribute to the creation of maintenance and calibration procedures and update existing procedures to match best practices and lessons learned
- Assist in coordinating equipment/system installations
- Support Maximo (CM/CMR/CC) workflow; Complete non-routine repair work orders for regulated and unregulated systems
- May design new approaches to problems encountered and use a wide application of complex principles, theories, and concepts in the specific field
- Escort and supervise contractors through facility for routine inspections or repairs, ensuring they complete activities per procedure or agreements
- Identify and order spare or replacement parts for equipment utilizing inventory management system
- Other duties as assigned
The Candidate
- High school diploma with at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Associate degree in maintenance related field, preferred
- Possesses advanced electrical and mechanical skills and education
- Highly skilled and/or certified in at least one trade
- Must be able to read and understand English-written job instructions and safety requirements
