Location :Council Bluffs IA OPDCity :Council BluffsState :Indiana (US-IN)Country :United States (US)Requisition Number :36129Job Title:Laboratory TechnicianLocation :Council Bluffs IA OPDCity :Council BluffsState :Iowa (IA)Country :United States (US)Requisition Number :36129Core Functions:Actively participate in our Employee Safety Involvement planMaintain a safe work environment for one s self and all employeesPerform all applicable analytical tests on raw ingredients, in-process, and finished productsPerform data entry of analysis into various QA databasesAssist in identifying and managing HOLD productsIdentify quality and procedure deviations; effectively report such deviations and provide accurate information in a timely manner and as neededPrepare testing solutions, equipment calibrations, general maintenance and upkeep of laboratoryCommitment to supply safe food, maintain a food safety culture within the site, continually improve the site's food safety management system; and comply with customer and regulatory requirements.Perform duties as assignedSkill/Experience Requirements:High School diploma or GED Required1-2 years of experience in processing or manufacturing environmentWork experience in a laboratory environment is preferredGeneral knowledge of production processes, food lab instrumentation, and laboratory test methods preferredStrong analytical and problem solving skills. Sound decision and teamwork skills are essential.
