Position requires demonstration of competency for all on-the-job activities that may have a direct or indirect affect on product safety, legality and/or quality.Job Responsibilities
Ensure that shipping employees are instructed and trained in the care and safe operations of equipment.
Review records and procedures to ensure proper use of time and materials. Preform continuous inspection of products to ensure quality standards are met.
Ensure that all equipment is in good operating condition.
Promote positive relations and interdepartmental communication and cooperation.
Ensure a safe working environment for all personnel through enforcement of safety policies and procedures, including inspections and periodic safety meetings, etc.
May occasionally work in place of employees out sick, on vacation, etc.
Plan and adjust work assignments of personnel to cover all phases of shipping.
Maintain cleanliness of work area.
Ensure compliance with all company rules, policies and procedures (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, etc..).
Perform other duties as directed by supervision.Desired Experience
Four (4) or more years experience in shipping or related fields.Desired Education
