Whey Plant ForemanShift: 3pm - 1130p and 11p - 730amRotating Days Off General Purpose:.Oversee whey plant operation. Lead point person for all whey plant activity when no manager or supervisor is present. Helps maintain whey plant equipment. Job Duties and Responsibilities:Lead and oversee the activities of all whey plant production employeesEnsure the U.F, R.O, HTST, Clarifiers and Whey Separators are running effeciently and in specCommunicate in a professional manner to fellow employees, supervisors, managers and other foremenMake changes to whey plant employee schedule to meet production needsEnsure CIP is being done on equipmentEnsure all Master Sanitation Work Orders are completed on time and recorded into SAPEnsure all recording charts are collecting correct data and being changed as necessaryMake sure information is correctly being transferred into SAPInitiate and lead employee pre-shift meetingsAttend foreperson meetings once a monthParticipate in safety training of new employeesPerform safety, GMP and 5S auditsLeads all aspects of continuous improvement in their department including 5S, leader standard work and kaizenExhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion, and sound judgmentAttend required training, including but not limited to, Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF)The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required.
