Perks at work (discount program with several companies) We have repair and new equipment machinist positions available on day shift at the ADM Mechanical Facility. Machinists need to be experts in operating manual machining equipment with minimal assistance. Candidates should have experience machining on stainless steel and carbon steel. Machinists need to be able to read and work from blueprints.
Candidates should have the ability to work safely and emphasize quality.
Colleagues will work in a team atmosphere to fabricate and machine equipment for capital projects and maintenance. There will be no out of town traveling and overtime will be worked as needed.Qualifications:Able to work safely in a team environment and be quality conscienceAble to be an excellent machinist on manual lathes and mills, and functional on CNC equipmentAble to read and interpret blueprintsPrevious experience in machining and precision measuring is required.Job Requirements: Exhibit regular and prompt attendance and maintain attendance record in accordance with company policyExperience in manufacturing, production and/or similar military environment (preferred) Must be 18 years or older Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship Ability to understand and effectively communicate in English (verbal/written)
