Credit AnalystPurpose and Scope/General Summary: We are looking for a Credit Analyst to join our shared service Financial Services team at our Corporate office in Greeley, CO. In this role, you will perform financial statement analysis, support management with ad hoc portfolio analysis, and maintain key customer relationships. This position reports to the Credit Manager.Responsibilities:Perform financial statement analyses, benchmarking customers against industry normsAssess creditworthiness of customers, confidently recommending customer credit limitsSupport management with ad hoc portfolio analysisFollow economic and market trends to proactively reduce credit riskActively recognize internal processes that can be enhanced or automatedMaintain key customer and industry relationshipsLead high level financial conversations with customers' executive teamsClassify accounting line items into our financial modelOnboard new customers through evaluation of financials and bank/trade referencesWork closely with sales team to forecast customers
AR exposureSupport the Collections Department in DSO and past due reductionWork closely with Customer Master to ensure SAP customer data is updatedNegotiate with customers, where necessary, to obtain credit securityPerform draws on letters of credit and assist in bankruptcy case managementAssist in administering company credit insurance policyOther duties as assignedQualifications: Bachelor s degree required; Finance, Accounting, Economics or related fieldstrongly preferred2+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience preferredStrong understanding of financial statements and accounting languageDetail oriented self-starter with strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilitiesIntermediate+ Excel skillsExcellent communication and strong interpersonal skillsPrevious experience with SAP preferredBasic knowledge of GAAP preferredDemonstration of key finance competencies and qualificationsCan perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodationAs a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;Paid Time Off: sick leave, vacation, and 6 company observed holidays;401(k): company match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule; Base salary range of $56,500-$60,000; Incentive Pay: This position is eligible to participate in the Company s annual bonus plan, the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program; and
