Pediatric Hospitalist Physician

Position: Permanent MD/DO - Pediatric Hospitalist
Location: Florence, South Carolina
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive medical care for hospitalized pediatric patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
Conduct daily rounds to assess and monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and coordinate care with other healthcare providers.
Collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, and nursing staff to ensure effective patient management and continuity of care.
Participate in the development and implementation of clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives.
Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and health maintenance.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics.
Valid South Carolina medical license.
Experience in pediatric hospital care is preferred.
Strong clinical skills with the ability to manage complex cases.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
