Position Title: Warehouse Material Handler / Forklift DriverReports To: Purchasing SupervisorThe Packaging Warehouse Material Handler, is required to handle the day-to-day inventory responsibilities, in support of other organizational functions. This position reports to the facility Purchasing Supervisor.Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnload/load delivery trucks with electric forkliftLoad supply trailers with forklift and/or physical material handlingPerform cycle counting and other daily paperworkFollow the instructions of the Purchasing Manager / Purchasing SupervisorMeet deadlines for completion of the delegated tasksProper storage and handling of the received stockEnsure cleanliness and proper organization of the warehousePlace tags and labels on the inventory stockCoordinate with team members and other internal departmentsFirst Shift (4:00am to 4:30pm), possible overtime availableMust be available for weekend shifts2-2-3 ScheduleSkills and SpecificationsMust possess strong computer skillsForklift experience a mustSAP experience a plusMust possess the ability to repetitively lift and carry boxes up to 60#Ability to manage time efficiently and effectivelyShould possess the skills of being a good team worker, self-starter and able to work with minimal supervisionGood interpersonal skills for interacting with other departmentsMust possess good mathematical, statistical and analytical abilitiesEducation and QualificationsWarehousing experience a plusForklift operator experience a mustBenefits:Insurance: Health Insurance, Vision, Dental, and Life InsuranceLeave and Holidays: Vacation, Paid HolidaysRetirement: 401K PlanOther Benefits: Employee Meat Purchase, Tuition reimbursement after 6 monthsEOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled
