The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for managing and supporting strategic and operational initiatives for the Community Health Network and Community Benefits Corporation. Initiatives will include supporting external and internal stakeholder relationships to ensure successful implementation of strategic plans in order to achieve business objectives. This role will serve as the lead on activating compliance activities (e.g. State reports, Community Health Needs Assessments) and will support execution of projects, including leading workgroups, aligned with the system's community health goals focused on addressing social drivers of health such as, but not limited to, expanding social driver screening efforts for the Memorial Hermann patient population utilizing the EMR system. This role will report directly to the Vice President of Community Health Strategy.Job DescriptionMinimum QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, or comparable combined education and experienceLicenses/Certifications: (None)Experience / Knowledge / Skills:Four (4) years work experience leading special projects; Experience in healthcare preferredExperience leading work teamsDemonstrated pattern of growth in ability to lead othersBusiness acumen and analytical skillsPlanning and organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsRecord of consistent, effective use of project management methodologyAdvanced computer skillsPrincipal AccountabilitiesProvides leadership to assigned projects.Performs project management administrative tasks.May manage several projects simultaneously.Assumes responsibility for the success of assigned projects or portions of projects.Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.Demonstrates commitment to caring for every member of our community by creating compassionate and personalized experiences. Models Memorial Hermann's service standards by providing safe, caring, personalized and efficient experiences to patients and colleagues.Other duties as assigned.
