This position performs plain films, fluoro, portables, and OR exams and/or plain films and Bone DensityJob Responsibilities and Requirements:PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESPreps and prepares patient for radiology examFollows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.Prepares and administers contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.Ensures prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history)Maintains a clean, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms and any other areas in departmentPerforms other duties as assigned.EDUCATIONcompletion of a radiology certification programEXPERIENCENo experience requiredREQUIRED PROFESSIONAL LICENSE AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS     Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA)     And         ARRT-R Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Work Shift:Day Shift (United States of America)Job Type:EmployeeDepartment:4202000023 RadiologyScheduled Weekly Hours:36SSM Health is an equal opportunity employer.
