We have spent 40 years perfecting our production and safety processes, and our support and partnership have generated new possibilities for an array of customers from restaurants to convenience store chains to supermarket prepared food operations, and every high-volume fresh food marketspace in between.As the Vice President of Marketing, you will be responsible for spearheading strategic innovation initiatives while leading, developing and executing strategic marketing plans and driving growth of our product portfolio. You will be tasked with making sure our entire portfolio of products (across our brands, our licensed brands and our retailer brand/unlabeled items) are successful. You will work with the leadership team to assess and develop new business opportunities. This is a leadership role that requires a combination of strategic thinking, creative vision, and strong business acumen.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies and plans to drive brand awareness, market penetration, and sales growth for our product portfolio.In cooperation with the leadership team, evaluate new segments and new product opportunities based on F&S s capabilities and the addressable market.Conduct market research, including consumer insights, competitor analysis, and industry trends, to identify opportunities to introduce new SKUS within our current product categories and inform marketing strategies.Collaborate with internal teams such as R&D, supply chain, and sales, to bring innovative and profitable products to market.Define and execute go-to-market plans for new product launches, including pricing, positioning, messaging, and promotional activities.Manage the marketing budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retail partners, distributors, and suppliers, to drive mutually beneficial partnerships and secure strategic alliances.Monitor and analyze marketing and sales data to track product performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend actionable strategies to optimize results.Stay up-to-date with industry trends, consumer preferences, and market dynamics to anticipate opportunities and mitigate potential risks.Job RequirementsEstablish and track key metrics for marketing success.Bachelor s degree in marketing, business administration, food science, product development or a related field, graduate degree welcome (marketing or product development related or an MBA).Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, product development, or brand management, preferably within deli, produce or a consumer packaged goods sector.Strong knowledge of produce and deli markets, consumer trends, and retail landscape.Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and managing direct reports.Proven track record of successful product launches and driving revenue growth.Excellent project management and organizational skills.
