About the unit4 South is a 35 bed Progressive Care Unit. Our unit is a fast-paced, encouraging environment. We provide care for a wide range of patient needs, such as stroke, cardiac, and thoracic patients, to name a few. We assess patient’s NIHSS scale and provide treatment and education per protocol and treat Cardiac issues that may arise during their stay with medications and procedures. We do vital signs every four hours and hourly rounding on every patient. We work closely with Physical and Occupational therapy for our patient’s recovery and educate both the patient and their family members on what to expect after discharge.About Troy HospitalThis 530-bed, Magnet®-designated facility offers a comprehensive array of services to the rapidly growing communities of the northern Detroit suburbs. The RN provides quality patient care under the direction of the Nurse Leader according to Corewell Health policies and procedures and recognizes the impact of nursing care and patient/family partnerships on patient outcomes.
