Job Title: Service-Desk / Application Support Technical Lead We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 6 to 8 years of experience to join our diverse team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Change Lifecycle Management Incident Management Service Now MS Excel and Service desk - UAM. This role requires demonstrated ability in Portals and Systems. The work model is hybrid with day shifts and no travel is required. Proficiency in English is a must. Responsibilities Lead the technical team in running the Change Lifecycle process to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruptions. Lead all aspects of Incident Management to promptly address and resolve technical issues ensuring minimal impact on operations. Share a point of view in Service Now to streamline workflows and improve service delivery. Use MS Excel for data analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes. Lead the Service desk UAM to ensure user access management is handled efficiently and securely. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to develop and maintain portals and systems that meet business requirements. Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. Develop and implement technical solutions to improve system performance and user experience. Provide technical support and mentorship to team members to develop a collaborative and productive work environment. Monitor system performance and implement vital upgrades and patches to maintain efficient functionality. Ensure all user documentation is up-to-date and accessible to relevant team members. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure flawless integration and support of third-party systems. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the company technical capabilities. Qualifications Possess a proven background in Change Lifecycle Management with shown experience in managing sophisticated transitions. Demonstrate expertise in Incident Management with a track record of resolving technical issues efficiently. Have extensive experience with Service Now to optimize service delivery processes. Be proficient in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes. Have hands-on experience in leading Service desk UAM to ensure secure user access management. Show domain expertise in Portals and Systems to develop and maintain business-critical applications. Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until November 10 ,2024. The annual salary for this role is between $63,500 to $74,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This job is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
