Venture Builders is a local, family-oriented remodeler that has been in the Valley since 1989. We provide contracting services in the local Shenandoah Valley and Harrisonburg, VA area. A sample of our work includes bathroom and kitchen remodels, decks, and home improvements. We believe in empowering our employees to take ownership in all they do. Venture Builders Inc. is seeking a self-motivated, experienced Carpenter Helper. The right person will bring eagerness to being a team player as well as display professionalism in our client's homes.

Carpenter Helper responsibilities:

• Select, Pick up materials.
• Ability to read blueprints and/or follow instructions from supervisors.
• Work with materials such as wood, plastic, fiberglass, paint or drywall.
• Capable of using all Hand Tools.
• Join materials with nails, screws, staples, or adhesives.
• Work on ladders.
• Use levels, rules, plumb bobs, framing squares, and surveying equipment to ensure everything is level and secure.
• Build stairs, mantles, and furniture.
• Install cabinets and molding.
• Remodel homes and businesses.
• Erect scaffolding.
• Replace panes of glass, ceiling tiles, and doors.
• Install partitions, doors, and windows.
• Other duties as assigned

Carpenter Helper requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in construction.
• Must have good management and people skills.
• Must be able to communicate well and be well organized.
• Must be clean cut and dependable.
• Clean driving record
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Must Follow all Safety Rules
• Work outside in different environments

Carpenter Helper Pay and Benefits:

• $15-18/hour (Depending on experience)
