1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts- 8 hour shiftsEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for building a well-trained team which is passionate about safety, quality, efficiency, and company success.Teamwork - Contributes to building a positive team spirit,puts success of team above own interests,supports everyone's efforts to succeed,maintains a positive attitude,generates ideas and suggestions that improve the team s performance, the efficiency of the process or the quality of the products.Observe all expectations for quality, and safetyMeet or exceed company expectations for production performance to maximize sale.Stack product into correct stack countExamine product for defects and disposition accordinglyRefill carton machine as needed with correct cartonsPack product inside carton or bags depending on order specificationsConfirm that date code is being printed on carton and in correct placement of cartonConfirm cartons are sealing properly and notify production lead if there is a problemPut correct labels in the correct space as specified by orderKnowledge of SQF, GMP s, SOP s, and HACCP, and other food process sanitation requirementsReport any/all food safety or food quality issues immediately to supervision or QAPerform related duties as assigned by production lead or other managementMaintain compliance with all company policies and proceduresAssist production lead with changeovers as required (including moving materials, equipment, etc.)Properly utilize labor resources to improve efficiency, minimize labor expense and reduce wasteRework all product as needed, do not waste productNotify production lead of any waste issues and/or machine malfunctionsClean up line continuously throughout shiftAble to work extended hours, available for overtime and weekend work as requiredMeet or Exceed the Food Safety and Quality Standards of the CompanyOther Responsibilities and Skills Needed:Oral CommunicationTeamworkEthicsDependabilityDecision-makingAttention to DetailEducation and/or Work Experience Requirements:Must be willing to work weekends when neededBasic mathematical skillsPhysical and Safety Requirements:Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP s) and all other food safety requirementsComplies with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE s) requirementsReports any food safety problems or potentially unsafe practices/conditions to lead or supervisorConstant walking and standing on hard concrete surfacesFrequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, lifting and climbingPosition will require working in very hot and cold conditionsOther conditions include flour dust, wet floors, occasional smoke and fumes if product burns
