This individual ensures that product and roasting requirements are met safely, efficiently and with minimal waste.Key Responsibilities Maintains the start up and continuous operation of roasting equipment while maintaining efficiencies and assists the department in meeting or exceeding daily roasting goals Obtains daily work schedules and completes work orders based on standard operating procedures Ensures roasting equipment functions according to specifications Prepares roasting equipment prior to product run including cleaning and making adjustments Notifies mechanics of any mechanical issues on packaging equipment Maintains safe and clean working environment Performs other duties as assignedTypical EducationHigh school diploma or equivalentRelevant Experience Forklift lift experience required and ability to be certified Preferred two years plus related experience Good knowledge of computer systems Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to balance multiple tasks, be flexible and work well under pressure Ability to work in a refrigerated environment Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision and exercise good judgment; team player with strong work ethicJob Requisition ID: 19731Travel Required: NoneLocation(s): FG Plant - PascoCountry: United StatesWage range or rate of pay: $23.68/HRThe compensation offered to the successful applicant may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education, location, and other job-related reasons.Attractive total rewards package that includes: Medical, dental, vision coverage 401(k) savings plan 10 Paid Holidays Paid Time Off (where applicable) Relocation Assistance Program (where applicable) Education Assistance (where applicable) Benefits details available at simplotbenefits.com**The J.R.
