Overview: GovCIO is currently hiring for a LMR Project Planner. This position will be located in Sumter, SC and will be an onsite position. Responsibilities: Provide expertise on system modernization project management for microwave transmission systems, antenna systems, land mobile radio systems and outdoor mass notifications systems (e.g., Giant Voice). Provide analysis of the deployment and operation of these systems into the CENTCOM AOR.Assist in the analysis and management of AFCENT Enterprise programs supporting Air Force Trunked Land Mobile Radio, conventional Land Mobile Radio, Microwave line of site, outdoor mass notification systems, and future Air Force technology employed into CENTCOM’s AOR.Assist with management of teams at different organizational levels to include resolving conflicts, communicating process and procedures, and enhancing understanding radio communication systems.#ctss Qualifications: Required Skills and Experience:Bachelor's with 5 - 8 years (or commensurate experience)PMP/equivalent certification accepted in lieu of degree Clearance Required: SECRETMinimum of eight years’ experience with the technical and analytical aspects associated with management, configuration, and operation of fixed and mobile VHF/UHF communications equipment. The total compensation package for this position may also include other compensation elements, to be discussed during the hiring process. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, GovCIO or individual department/team performance, and market factors. Posted Salary Range: USD $85,000.00 - USD $103,000.00 /Yr.
