Job Description The Feed Mill Superintendent will ensure the safe and efficient manufacture and delivery
of quality finished feed to our growers. He/She will conduct daily inspections of the mill, supervise the inventory taking process, minimize downtime through efficient equipment operation and maintain appropriate ingredients inventory.Duties/Activities Required by Job Direct supervision of mill production. Daily inspections of the mill, ensuring quality standards are met, working with employees, maintaining a good working relationship with crew, training employees, and working through problems. Regulatory: Safety and Environmental, Paperwork and record keeping, batching, delivery, maintain all production records:
Maintaining daily ingredient and feed inventories records for compliance., daily production numbers. Acts as safety coordinator for facility. Completing daily, monthly, and quarterly safety and environmental task, for FDA and environmental records. Maintain assigned staffing and recommend applicants for hire, maintain good relations with the community. Ensure that quality standards are met in feed manufacturing.Educations/Experience Requirements High School or GED 3-5 yrs relevant experience On the job training. Working knowledge of Excel.
