Unit Description: Use your passion for service to create a positive impact and make a difference in the communities we serve Sodexo is seeking a full-time Dietitian Nutritionist II for an inpatient position at HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital in beautiful Panama City, Florida. HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is a 282-bed acute care facility on the Emerald Coast of the Florida Panhandle, serving the Bay County and surrounding communities. The facility provides a variety of inpatient services, including a 20-bed ICU and the area’s only level III NICU, and is undergrowing significant growth and expansion Health Benefits and Paid Time Off available – start with three weeks’ vacation and three personal daysReimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees and CDR renewalMoney toward continuing education eventsUp to $5000 tuition reimbursement annuallyReporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the successful candidate will:provide inpatient nutrition care, primarily on the ICU;work rotating weekends providing hospital-wide coverage;perform quality improvement tasks such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays; andeducate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses. Is this opportunity right for you? Qualifications & Requirements: Basic Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)  Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
