Cyclonaire is currently looking for an Electrical Mechanical Assembler to join our team.

An Electrical Mechanical Assembler assembles, installs, tests, and calibrates pneumatic conveying systems using both electrical and mechanical disciplines. The Electrical Mechanical Assembler follows blueprints, bill of materials, schematics, and instrumentation diagrams. The Electrical Mechanical Assembler selects, measures, and prepares electrical wiring, connecting wiring and labels to panels and machines. The Electrical Mechanical Assembler will perform instrument startup, calibration, functional, and safety testing. The Electrical Mechanical Assembler operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or finished machines/equipment according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures. The Electrical Mechanical Assembler tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances and product specifications. The Electrical Mechanical Technician will perform simple repairs, provide daily preventative maintenance on equipment, perform routine inspections of the tools and equipment, and train others on how to care for the machines. This role will be able to carry out its functions in accordance with Cyclonaires Core Values.

Essential Functions

  • Assemble Cyclonaire equipment according to drawings using a variety of tools and skills
  • Maintain high levels of quality by understanding and following Cyclonaire procedures
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and shop orders
  • Troubleshoot issues with the drawings or equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Daily equipment and area housekeeping (5S)
  • Other duties as assigned

Competencies: Must be able to read technical drawings and follow instructions. Attention to detail and organizational skills are desired. Must have the ability to read a tape measure. Must have the ability to obtain a forklift license through the companys training and certification program. Must have the ability to use hand and power tools. Must have the ability to prioritize and manage workload while meeting critical timelines with high expectations from internal and external customers. Problem-solving and critical thinking skills are required.

Education / Experience: High school diploma or GED certificate preferred.

Physical Demands: Requires frequent touching, grasping, and feeling of physical equipment. Talking, hearing, and repetitive motions are required. Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and lifting. Work requires constant visual ability. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently.

Work Environment: Clean and climate-controlled manufacturing environment. May be required to work outdoors as business needs dictate.

Travel Requirements: None

Safety: Safety shoes (steel or composite toe), safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and other forms of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required in designated areas.

Other Duties: Safe work performance is always required from each employee. Perform all duties and responsibilities in a safe manner in accordance with applicable Health and Safety Manuals. Required to wear or use PPE as applicable and to immediately report unsafe working conditions. Understanding and adhering to Cyclonaire Core Values is required.
