SummaryUnder general direction, this role performs a variety of job responsibilities which may include operation of a newer model application equipment, delivery of fertilizer and chemical products to customers, equipment and plant maintenance and fertilizer blending.
Key Responsibilities- Product application, calibrating application equipment, application equipment maintenance, and cleaning and storing application equipment
- Loading and delivering fertilizer and chemicals to customers
- General plant equipment maintenance and housekeeping responsibilities
- Receiving and unloading product deliveries and warehouse/inventory responsibilities
- Misc. duties such as special projects, attending provided trainings, providing back-up when/where needed

Typical EducationHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED)Relevant Experience- Two plus years related experience and/or training.
- Knowledge of the local geography/roads/farms and ability to develop trust with management that moderate to heavy traffic can be negotiated effectively.
- Ability to assist in equipment rebuilds
- Ability to calibrate a variety of application equipment
- Ability to maintain maintenance records for equipment
- Ability to set up and calibrate injection equipment is a plus
- Basic knowledge in the areas of mechanical, electrical welding and metal fabrication are a plus
- Have or able to obtain a Pesticide Applicator License.
Combination of education, training and/or experience will be considered for this position.
*This position is not eligible for relocation.
