We want your knowledge and expertiseJob Summary and QualificationsObtain quality ultrasound images of patientsManage all ultrasound equipment and recognize significant diagnostic informationDemonstrates ability to perform all necessary computer operationsRender patient care in a professional and courteous manner and always identifies patients utilizing the proper protocol.Prepare ultrasound machine and perform quality control testsAssist radiology nurse or radiologist in administering medications, performing biopsies and all types care to patientReviews each exam for technical accuracy and identifies anatomical orientation on all imagesDemonstrates willingness to assist in additional dutiesMaintains work area in a clean and orderly manner.Maintains strict confidentiality regarding employees and patients.Completes and maintains educational requirements.What qualifications you will need:Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound programRegistered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer ARRT or ARDMSBasic Cardiac Life Support, or CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateSpotsylvania Regional Medical Center has provided quality healthcare services since 2010.
