SummaryThis position is a Blender Operator in a Food Processing (Eggs) company. Under the direction of the Processing Supervisor, this position performs various tasks ensuring the highest quality product possible. Key Responsibilities · Set up tanks and silos to receive product, including sanitizing, assembling, and disassembling equipment · Operate mix-making systems to assemble batches of mix according to specifications and perform all required record keeping · Order necessary ingredients for formula specifications. Be familiar with outside purchases of liquid ingredients and be able to project needs of it · Comply with all GMP requirements and work with inspectors doing periodic equipment testing and inspection · Must be able to assemble and disassemble equipment for proper cleaning/sanitizing and operating per manufacturer and company instructions · Ability to measure, weigh, and add bag ingredients to blender · Ability to operate forklift and pallet lifts · Ability to perform product lab testing for product quality Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. · Experience in Food Manufacturing or Processing desirable · Safety programs and processes, such as Confined Space, LOTO, Hazcom, etc. · Equipment operation Physical DemandsStand and walk constantly; grip, grasp, push, pull, reach, bend, stoop, lift up to 10 pounds frequently; sit, climb, lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Work Environment Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and water, and chemicals. Temperature is regulated for operations standards. Cooler temperatures occur in specific areas. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Proper personal protective equipment will be required during certain working conditions. Employees are required to comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) due to working in a food manufacturing environment (hairnets, clean clothes, etc.).
