We are consistently recognized as one of the top five specialty electrical construction firms by Engineering News Record. Essential FunctionsPrepare programming and system documentation for other programmers and users in compliance with external and internal standardsSupervise and providing training; develop and maintain end user documentation related, specifically, to JD Edwards Payroll and HR modules and generally to JD Edwards E1 as a wholeEvaluate the current state of business technology resources and identify new technologies or upgrades/enhancements to existing technologies that have the potential to improve business performanceConduct cost/benefit and buy/build analyses, present findings to management, and make recommendationsMeet with end users to assess business objectives and define user needsCoordinate the work of development teams, ensuring that technology is appropriately installed or configured and integrates with legacy solutionsStay informed of emerging technologies or changing organizational objectivesConduct task analysis and interact with system users in order to identify chances for the improvement of productivity, integration, and to decrease costsReview, analyze, and modify programming systems including installing, encoding, debugging, and testing to support the organization's application systems.Serve as a liaison between development teams and the internal/external customer or end userFollow an established requirements-gathering process to identify requirementsCommunicate requirements to the development teams through the use of specifications, statements of work, project plans, or other forms of documentationCoordinate with developers, quality assurance teams, and users to test processes and ensure functionality and user acceptanceProvide expert-level support for processes including but not limited to Payroll, Month-end, Quarter-end, and Year-end processesProvide expert-level support for HR processes, including but not limited to, employee onboarding, annual open enrollment, and 401K integrationsAssist in developing design considerations, cost analyses, and execution timelines for Payroll and/or HR initiativesEssential functions of this position are to be performed primarily in a Company-designated office or field locationRegular and predictable attendanceOther duties as assignedUnderstand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards About You: QualificationsMinimum 10 years of experience in progressively-responsible programming and systems analysis related rolesPreferred EducationBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field from an accredited university or institutionKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesExtensive knowledge of JD Edwards Payroll and HR modules and associated object and table structuresFamiliarity with iCIMS and iCIMS integration with JD Edwards E1Ability to design new IT solutionsAbility to understand complex database systemsAbility to work independently with minimum supervisionSolid knowledge of electric construction industryStrong knowledge of system analysis and workflow managementStrong organizational & time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasksSound knowledge of documentation procedures, programming procedures and methods, operator instructions, and program flow chartsAbility to provide solid customer service and exercise diplomacyExtensive knowledge of technologyGood verbal and written communication skills What We Offer: Compensation & BenefitsSalary $135,000-$150,000 / yearCommensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith.
