Responsibilities of the Lead Medical Laboratory Technologist:
- Must be knowledgeable in the operation of every laboratory section, perform the duties of a Medical Technologist III and assist the supervisor, and take charge in the absence of the supervisor in monitoring shift operation in all sections of the laboratory.
- Night shift 10:30pm-7 am
- No call, weekends required
Requirements of the Lead Medical Laboratory Technologist:
- Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution plus successful completion of a formal technologist training program
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory performing technical duties
- Must be ASCP, AMT, or AAB certified MT or MLT
- Have state-recognized certification as a Medical Technologist; or be eligible
