  • Clinical Role:

    • Schedule includes 7 days on, 7 days off. Possibly flexible according to the arrangement between the Medical Director and Staff Physician. Shifts consist of 24-hour rounding plus call from home. Call will be shared with another Intensivist
    • 7.6 shifts per month is full-time, 5.5 shifts per month minimum for benefit-eligible
    • Practice setting includes inpatient care and rounds

    • Facility designation: Level III Trauma Center
    • Responsible for providing coverage to a 6-bed PICU
    • Admissions and patient management
    • Consultation with families and referring physicians
    • Working with local physicians/facilities on successfully accepting transfers into the hospital/unit
    • Documentation system/EMR details to be discussed with the Medical Director
    • Can interview candidates in their last year of Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship. Must pass Pediatric Critical Care Boards within 5 years of graduation
    • Open to candidates seeking alternate shift schedules
    • Not accepting Locums candidates
    • Not open to 1099 candidates
    • Not accepting Visa candidates
    • Not accepting providers who would commute long distances (more than 1 hour) and/or in conjunction with another job(s)
    • This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. ?Relocation may be required
