MicrobiologistThis is in the microbiology lab onsite at the nutrient manufacturing facility.Key Responsibilities:Implementing and completing daily Microbiology techniquesEnvironmental Monitoring ProgramSupport functions for root cause identification and follow-upCreate and implement standardization laboratory protocolsPartner with internal and external stakeholders to enable processes, ensuring alignment with ISO 17025Lead and mentor microbiology techniciansPerform microbiology testing on raw material and finished product samplesEnter laboratory testing results to a LIMS dailyOther Responsibilities:Document procedures and provide guidance to lab techniciansPerform routine lab responsibilities such as reagent / medias preparation, sample coordination, equipment maintenance, lab document management, sample inventory control and reconciliation of sample requests, as neededSupport plant environmental monitoring programConducts lab proficiency testingOversee microbiology uncertainty programCommitted to good documentation practices (GDP)Technical Requirements:B.S. degree Biology or Microbiology3-5 years
