All equipment is DR and less than 3 years old.  You will have opportunities to work in the Emergency, ICU, Surgery, Fluoroscopy, and perform Minor specials.    We have a Quality Assurance program and a Continuing Education Resource center just for Imaging. SLU Hospital is an academic institute as well as a Level 1 Trauma facility that offers exceptional pay, benefits, tuition reimbursement, pet insurance, matching retirement funds, and more If you would like to be a part of this team, please submit your application today * Sign-on Bonus paid IN FULL on 1st paycheck.  Qualified external candidates onlyJob Summary:Under the direction of the Radiology Director and Manager produces quality diagnostic medical radiographs to ensure proper diagnosis and quality patient care.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:Demonstrates the skills to produce quality radiographs.A) Produces quality images by using appropriate exposure technique to ensure proper penetration of the area being radio graphed.B) Demonstrates the proper use of metal markers and or placement of markers electronically.C) Document an appropriate patient history containing pertinent patient information regarding their condition and including patient limitations.D) Physician orders are to be written and verified prior to the start of the exam.Perform OR/Surgery cases using C-arms and portable machines efficiently.Observes established departmental policies, safety, environmental, and infection control standards. Performs other duties as appropriate and needed by supervisors. DISCLAIMER:  Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.Job SpecificationsMINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of a Radiology Technology programMINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 1 year of experience preferred but new grads welcomeREQUIRED COURSE: ARRTThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
