We are looking for a dedicated Certified Respiratory Therapist PRN like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsPosition Summary  Under the supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Director/Manager, the Registered Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing Cardiopulmonary care services in accordance with specific physician orders, department policies and procedures. The Respiratory Therapist administers respiratory care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system, performs diagnostic tests of the cardiovascular and pulmonary system to aid physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and lung disorders.  Job Requirements / Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program Experience: 1 year preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current licensure in the state of Tennessee as an Certified Respiratory Therapist; ABG endorsed BLS [required upon hire/transfer] ACLS [required within 6 months of hire/transfer] PALS [required within 6 months of hire/transfer] What qualifications you will need:STABLE must be obtained within 60 months of employment start dateState Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician must be obtained within 60 months of employment start dateAssociate DegreeAdvanced Cardiac Life Spt, or ACLS Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start dateBasic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateNeonate Resuscitate, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start datePALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt, or PALS Instructor must be obtained within 1 year of employment start dateTriStar Horizon Medical Center is an accredited, 150+ bed regional medical center.
