Apply TodayJob Summary and QualificationsThe Staff Nuclear Medicine Technologist’s primary responsibilities are to produce diagnostic Nuclear Medicine procedures as ordered and assist physicians or radiologists in delivering high-quality patient care.The Nuclear Medicine Technologist model’s adherence to the Hospital’s applicable policies, protocols, practices, and expectationsNuclear Medicine imaging and computer manipulation and processingCamera quality control radiation safetyRadioisotope administration and documentationImage processing and labelingScheduling of proceduresUse of office computers, filing system, phone and paging systemsTransporting of patients What qualifications you will need: Must have satisfactorily completed a two-year training program in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent North Carolina state licenseMust be certified through the ARRTNew hires or transfers to a different modality must achieve certification within six months of that assignmentMust maintain current CPR certificationVenipuncture certificationMust be current with continuing education requirementsAbility to communicate effectively orally and in writingStrong interpersonal skills that reflect a positive attitude and a sense of teamworkMission Hospital McDowell is a community hospital with 25+ beds, including five labor and delivery suites, serving McDowell County.
