We want your knowledge and expertiseJob Summary and QualificationsAs an MRI Technologist you will operate the MRI scanners to obtain images for use by the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. If that is you, come be a part of what makes us great and apply todayYou will perform procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretations by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner.You will exercise professional judgment in performance of services and maintain a demeanor complimentary to medical ethics.You will demonstrate proficiency and knowledge of non-imaging procedures/skills for all age groups served.You will perform procedures efficiently and according to the protocol for radiologic interpretationYou may need to life patients or assist in lifting on and off the exam table to position for appropriately for procedures.You will need to perform MRI procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision to keep procedures on schedule with no deviation due to lack of technical expertiseQualifications:Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology ProgramAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) requiredAmerican Registry of Radiologic Technology (MRI) or registry eligibleCurrent state licensure as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) requiredMinimum 1-3 years’ experience in MRI preferredCurrent Basic Cardiac Life Support certification requiredSouthern Hills Hospital is a 260+ bed acute care hospital.
