Wonderfield enjoys annual sales of over $2.5billion and EBITDA in excess of $140m a year with an ambitious growth trajectory.Position OverviewThe Vice President of Distribution is a key executive role responsible for overseeing and expanding the food distribution operations of Wonderfield Group across the United States and Canada. This individual will have ultimate accountability for the profit and loss (P&L) of the distribution sector, leading strategic planning, and ensuring operational excellence to support all Wonderfield customers and franchisees in both countries. Key Responsibilities & Duties:Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance distribution efficiency and expand service coverage to all franchisees in the US and Canada.P&L Management: Oversee financial management of distribution operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring profitability.International Import Operations: Management of Import operations.Operations Oversight: Ensure operational activities are executed efficiently and align with corporate standards and regulatory requirements.Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and develop the distribution team to achieve business and performance goals.Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with key stakeholders, particularly Supply Chain, within the company to align distribution strategies with overall corporate objectives.Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve distribution processes and systems to increase efficiency and reduce costs.Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high service levels that meet the needs of franchisees and enhance satisfaction and loyalty.Expansion Planning: Identify and develop opportunities for expanding distribution services to new markets and regions within the US and Canada.Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators for distribution operations to assess effectiveness and implement improvements.Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks in the distribution network to ensure continuity of operations.Safety First: Ensure that all Operational activities protect the integrity of the Food Supply Chain and the Health & Safety of our teamsInventory Control: Oversee the management of inventory levels to ensure optimal stock at all times, reducing waste and ensuring the availability of key ingredients necessary for production. Implement and monitor effective inventory management systems to track stock movement, forecast needs, and prepare for demand fluctuations.Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the reliable procurement of high-quality ingredients and materials and collaborate with suppliers to address any issues in the supply chain, ensuring continuity of supply.Sustainability: Lead the operation’s efforts to operate in an environmentally sustainable manner.
