Annual Salary: $225,000-270,000 W2

Location: Hybrid in Orange County (2-3 Days Remote a week)
Role Overview: As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will oversee and review both conceptual and detailed engineering for the construction and operational phases of various campuses. This role supports the development of large-scale power systems, including HV/MV substations, across extensive land areas. You will work on integrating power delivery and control operations for major data center companies. The company is experiencing rapid growth, requiring significant hands-on involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple site development and construction projects simultaneously, integrating grid, battery storage, and solar generation into cohesive systems.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, EPC contractors, and business partners to deliver solutions under tight deadlines and dynamic conditions.
  • Ensure power delivery systems comply with grid operator requirements and maintain controllable load management.
  • Develop technical solutions in line with project strategies and regulatory standards.
  • Support and enforce environmental, safety, and health regulations.
  • Complete project scopes on time, within budget, and to quality standards, ensuring resource availability and skill alignment.
  • Assess project risks and prepare mitigation plans.
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships internally and externally, adhering to HR requirements.
  • Review and recommend project engineering documentation daily.
  • Work with internal departments and external contractors to achieve project milestones.
  • Contribute to company documentation and procedures, focusing on transitioning projects from construction to operational phases.
  • Update progress in weekly planning and review meetings.
  • Proven understanding of building infrastructure for data centers
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical power engineering within a project environment.
  • Proven ability to communicate execution experience into future project planning.
  • Knowledge of multiple disciplines, including Civil, Mechanical, Process, Automation, and Computer Science.
  • Expertise in Electrical Engineering, covering LV, MV, and HV systems.
  • Experience in site management, field service, or commissioning is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with electrical substation protection and control concepts.
  • Understanding of construction law is beneficial but not required.
  • PE License - preferred not required


Estimated Min Rate: $225000.00
Estimated Max Rate: $270000.00
