The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for the master data accuracy supporting the inventory, ensuring the right part is available at the time, and assisting site operations with managing warranty claims. ResponsibilitiesCreate Purchase Requisitions for all goods needed for site and Balance of Plan (BOP) operations and maintenance in the regionPerform all inventory movements in SAPAbility to support multiple sites without assistancePerform Quarterly counts and maintain accurate inventory level percentagesAnalyze product usage and adjust MRP as appropriate with operations consent to optimize inventory levelsLearn and be proficient with the Product Life Cycle Management processStrong safety culture mindsetReview open orders from suppliers and communicate ship dates to necessary parties (risk report) Keep accurate master data information uploadedPerform all shipping/receiving dutiesRequest new part creation and extensions as needed Support adequate record of all inventory levels at assigned locations in SAP MM and accurate bin locationsFamiliar with and remains current regarding the necessary parts and materials for maintenance at responsible sitesPerform monthly inspections and observations at the perspective site(s)Liaison between OEM and Site operations for sites under warrantyManage warranty claims for sites under warranty QualificationsHigh School Degree or equivalent requiredAssociate degree in Sciences or related field from an accredited school preferredMust have a minimum 2 years of Inventory/warehouse, and forklift experienceMinimum 2 years’ experience in Material Management in SAP MM or similar maintenance systemUnrestricted driver's license in good standingWilling to relocate to within 1 hour drive of the siteAbility to push/pull/lift tools and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.Ability to work safely in extreme environments (hot sun, cold, etc.)Ability to walk, climb, and stand extensively during the work dayKnowledge of and experience with the use of hand and power toolsKnowledge of environmental and safety policies and proceduresAbility to work within tight deadlinesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAbility and willingness to travel to and from other sites as assigned Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to manage customer relationshipsDemonstrated desire to learn about the Company and the renewables spaceExcellent proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and TeamsStrong organization skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and deliverablesAbility to multi-task, while working independently and as part of a teamMotivated self-starter, goal-oriented, and strong problem-solving abilitiesProven ability to empathize, build relationships, and effectively communicate with people from a diverse set of backgroundsResponds well to direction, is easy to challenge and develop, and is coachableDetail-oriented, with strong business acumen, and a sound understanding of business conceptsAbility to research and correct invoicing issues, inventory discrepancies, and goods issue/goods receiptBe able to follow prepared work instructions, sourcing other parts with the aid of procurement and engineeringThis position is a field-based role with some *travel requiredYou may be required to fill in at multiple (nearby) sitesThe employee must be able to sit, walk, or stand for long durations of timeTypical work hours are from 7-3:30 with the potential to change depending on workload and weather conditionsExpected travel 4-6 weeks of the year  Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
