This position functions as an outpatient clinician serving adults in both individual and group settings within the Centers for Mental Health at Backus and Windham hospitals.Qualifications
Current Connecticut license LCSW, LMFT, or LPC required
Master’s degree in a mental health discipline required
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in psychiatric setting required, preferably in an emergency department/crisis role. Four years’ experience preferred
Highly effective verbal and written communication skills
The ability to exercise discretion and use good judgment to perform duties promptly and consistently with little direction
Basic computer skills and knowledge in order to enter/retrieve data
