The Inpatient Laboratory Manager oversees both administrative and technical operations of the Clinical Laboratory, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. This role guarantees the accuracy and validity of all Quality Control and technical procedures, while serving as the primary problem-solver for issues related to personnel, policies, and procedures. The manager identifies and develops necessary procedures to meet or exceed the needs of patients, physicians, and other stakeholders. Consulting with physicians on matters within their expertise is also a key responsibility. The manager ensures compliance with accrediting agencies, external regulations, billing requirements, and all lab and hospital policies. Additionally, they ensure that policies, procedures, and educational materials address the specific needs of patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly.
The ideal candidate for the Hospital Laboratory Manager would hold their Bachelors Degree in Laboratory Science, strong clinical experience in Blood Bank and/or Microbiology
