Our chocolates are proudly made in small batches in our iconic copper kettles. Individuals in Kitchen Service work to maintain the cleanliness of our candy kitchens, helping to ensure each piece of candy that comes out of our facility is "Only the Finest" quality that our customer have grown to expect.  The key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Monitoring ingredient weight Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for all tools required in the candy making process Conforms to rules May be assigned other duties by plant management as requiredAdditional Details Working in Kitchen Service requires PPE (non skid shoes, safety glasses, long gloves). PPE is provided by the company.THE TYPICAL SCHEDULE FOR THIS POSITION IS 10 HR SHIFTS MONDAY - THURSDAY. THE EARLIEST START TIME WILL BE 3:00 AM THE LATEST END TIME WILL BE 1:30 PM DEPENDING ON THE POSITION.TO BE CONSIDERED AN APPLICANT FOR THIS POSITION, YOU MUST SHOW HOW YOU MEET THE BASIC QUALIFICATIONS AS OUTLINED IN THE REQUIREMENTS.Basic Qualifications Must be 18 years or older Must be able to read and write in English Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Must be able to routinely and frequently stand, stoop, bend and lift overhead during a 10 hour shift Must be able to stand on hard surfaces for the duration of a 10 hour shiftPreferred Qualifications Ability to read and understand rulers, tapes, scales and thermometers Ability to read and understand product specifications established by Russell Stover Chocolates and recognize deviations from those specificationsCompany DescriptionFounded in 1923, Russell Stover Chocolates is a large producer of fine boxed chocolates in the United States.
