In this role you will serve as the technical liaison between Cisco SSE product management/engineering and strategic enterprise customers. You’ll guide deployment best practices, translate customer requirements into product outcomes, and own escalations with evidence and timelines. You’ll work across regions, influence roadmaps, and support end-to-end SSE deployments from cloud to on-premises. This position combines deep technical leadership with customer advocacy in a global, travel-heavy environment.

- Lead the technical relationship for a set of large SSE accounts, handling critical issues end-to-end
- Improve deployment rollout planning, configuration, and policy consistency to drive account health
- Create clear engineering runbooks and capture outcomes (logs, pcaps, configs) and communicate them to customers
- Provide feedback from customers to product/engineering to influence roadmaps and requirements
- Develop and support CX-driven documentation for SSE deployments and use cases
- Write scripts (Bash/Python) for diagnostics, health checks, automations, and lab repro
- Coordinate with globally distributed teams across time zones and cultures
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field with 10+ years of experience in networking, security, or cloud infrastructure; or Master’s with 7+ years of experience
- 7+ years in networking/security with direct customer ownership
- Experience with DNS, routing, IPsec, TLS, SAML, SWG/Web Proxy, and cloud networking
- Experience across zero trust access, VPN, web inspection in the cloud, CASB, DLP, and firewall policy
- 5+ years of experience with identity and SSO integrations (SAML/OIDC, SCIM) in enterprise deployments
- Prior experience handling on-premises and cloud security/networking products in production customer environments
- Ability to influence customer expectations and recommend SaaS deployment/adoption strategies
- Experience supporting large multinational enterprise accounts with global SSE or SASE rollouts
- Coding experience with Bash, Python, or similar
- Influence and stakeholder management
- Strong written and verbal communication to executive and technical audiences
