*The community you’ll be caring for: 1000 WATERMAN WAY, Tavares, FL 32778*
*The role you’ll contribute: *Provides patients with Cardiopulmonary support treatment, care, and evaluations during their inpatient stay.

· Delivers prescribed medication via inhalation in accordance with the physician’s order
· Oxygen therapy in accordance with departmental oxygen protocol
· Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions and treatments, as appropriate
· Educates patients and family members about patient illnesses and clinical interventions
· Adheres to department Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
· Ensures patient documentation is accurate, complete and complies with department protocols and procedures
· Cleans and stocks equipment
· Participates in the Code Blue and Rapid Response Team
· Administers all non-invasive modes of therapy for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
· Provides clerical assistance as required by the department
· May perform setup of Holter monitors
· May perform electrocardiograms
· May performs cardiac stress test
· May assist with patient transports requiring Respiratory Intervention
· May performs Exercise Oximetry as ordered
· May maintain intubation boxes up to date, stocked and secured
· May perform pacer interrogations
· May maintain Autopaps for QHS use
· May perform peripheral intravenous venous line insertion
· Performs other duties as assigned
*The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:*
*REQUIRED:*
· Graduated from a Paramedic program
· Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
· Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
· Paramedic license required from the respective state board and/or respective state equivalent
· Ability to determine the nature of patient conditions and assess whether patients have pre-existing medical conditions
· Ability to identify and treat life threatening conditions within the paramedic's field of practice
· Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English
· Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
*PREFERRED:*
· Associates of Science in health-related field
· Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification
Pay: $22.94 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 40 per week
Schedule:
* Day shift
* Evening shift
* Morning shift
* Night shift
* On call
* Rotating weekends
