Radiation Oncology Therapist

A national leading healthcare system based in south Florida is now seeking an experienced Advanced Radiation Oncology Therapist to join their award winning organization.

This not-for-profit system comprises multiple acute care hospital locations and hundreds of outpatient care locations throughout the south Florida region.
Reporting to the Manager Radiation Oncology and Chief Therapist, the Radiation Oncology Therapist performs direct patient care, applies ionizing radiation to patients, ensures patient safety, works closely with physician and nursing teams, and supports the mission and vision of the organization. Other responsibilities include observing radiation safety measures, monitoring patient progress and response to treatment, preparing patients rooms, performing machine maintenance, and maintaining sufficient medical records.
What’s Needed to Succeed:
- Associates level degree in Radiation Therapy
- Licensed as an ARRT Radiology Technologist
- Prior working experience in Radiation Therapy
