Maintenance Coordinator Intern will work directly with the Jackson Manufacturing Maintenance team to ensure preventative maintenance tasks are scheduled efficiently, parts inventory is properly cataloged and monitored. Dawn Inspire Internship Program interns will benefit from:

Exposure to bakery product manufacturing processes and equipment. Work Eligibility & Travel Requirements: This is a full-time position, working on-site out of our Jackson, Michigan Manufacturing site.
Interns will be required to be onsite at the Corporate Jackson office from May 19 - May 22 for onboarding, and from August 6 - 8 for final presentations. These are mandatory participation dates for the internship program.What Does It Take to be a Maintenance Coordinator Intern?Below are the minimum qualifications for the Dawn Inspire Internship Program.
Must be pursuing a bachelor s degree, with an interest in working in the Consumer Product Goods or Food industry. Current academic status must reflect good performance in relation to institutional academic standards. Strong interest in manufacturing operations. Ability to develop, organize, and manage task schedules.
Ability to develop, organize, and manage complex parts inventory.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as communication and interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges. Adaptability and willingness to embrace feedback and eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: Wheat/Gluten, Soy, Egg, Milk, Peanut, Treenut, and Sesame SeedsWhat Will Set You Apart?
Mechanical aptitude, tools/parts recognition, computer systems knowledge.

Preventative Maintenance scheduling, tracking, and follow up.
Parts inventory cataloging, monitoring, system migration.
Manufacturing process equipment review for critical parts identification.

Normal setting for this job will be a combination of manufacturing laboratory and production floor environment. Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: Wheat/Gluten, Soy, Milk, and Egg.
