Radiology Technologists collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide the very best imaging services. The commitment to service, safety and professionalism is critical to achieving the best experience for our patients. PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS · All seasonal employees are required to work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period. · All positions require 1 year of experience. · Three (3) weekend shifts are required each 4-week schedule period. · During the course of the 32-week period, the employee is required to work two (2) holiday shifts (defined by Department Manager or designee). · Within a close geography, you may be asked to float to another facility that has an emergent staffing need. · Seasonal Staff are PRN status employees and are subject to first call-off. There are no guaranteed hours by the hospital. · Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for benefits, except 401(k) and retirement contribution per the PRN policy. · Seasonal Staff will not be eligible for extra shift bonuses (D1/CND, D2/ECD, and D3/EVD) · Current FT/PT/PRN employees are not eligible to join the Seasonal program for 2023-2024 · Current employees of HWS are not eligible for the seasonal program. · Shifts may vary based on the needs of the department. What You Will Do In This Role: You will process images. You will prepare patient’s X-ray room, equipment, supplies and medication as indicated and deliver patient service. You will practice proper radiation safety techniques. You will assist in the process of orienting new employees. You will transport patients to and from department. What qualifications you will need:Must be a graduate of an AMA accredited program with a certificate or degree in Radiographic Technology. Should adhere to ARRT guidelines of obtaining 24 continuing education credits bi-annually. Must be ARRT Registered with ARRT – RT(R) or Registry eligible (must be registered within one year of completing program).BCLS Required. Two years of experience as RT(R) required. On Call Required and must have the ability to report to LSMC within 30 minutes of call back.Medical City Fort Worth is a 350+ bed full-service Magnet Designated hospital. It is located in the heart of the medical district. Medical City Fort Worth serves as a tertiary referral center for Tarrant County and many counties within a 90 mile radius. We offer comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services. Our specialties include cardiac care, neurosciences and oncology. We have surgical services, orthopedics, kidney transplants and emergency care. We offer three ER locations, including two off campus ER located in Burleson and White Settlement. Medical City Fort Worth is a designated comprehensive stroke center. We are a Joint Commission chest pain center. We are a part of the Medical City network of hospitals.
