We are looking for a dedicated General Sonographer like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and Qualifications§ The Vascular/Diagnostic Sonographer is responsible for performing vascular and General diagnostic ultrasound procedures. The Vascular/Diagnostic sonographer is responsible for the independent operation of Ultrasound equipment and the vascular equipment, and for performing and communicating preliminary results to the Radiologist. § The Vascular/Diagnostic Sonographer is responsible for daily operations of the Ultrasound Department, Customer service, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assurance (QA). The sonographer maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve. What qualifications you will need:Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start dateRegistered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start dateRegistered Vascular Technician (RVT) must be obtained within 18 months of employment start dateTrident Health is a 445-bed HCA Healthcare hospital system comprised of two acute care hospitals, Trident Medical Center and Summerville Medical Center and three freestanding emergency departments, Brighton Park Emergency, Moncks Corner Medical Center and Centre Pointe Emergency.
